It's time for Happy Homemaker Monday!    The weather outside is:::: HOT AND HUMID.   Yuck. On the breakfast plate this morning::::  I didn't eat breakfast.  As I look outside my window:::  My little white Cat.  She has found a love of nature and no longer wants to step foot into the house.  *sigh* Right now I am::::  Relaxing.  It's been a long five days!  As I look around the house::::  I didn't have the time to finish everything I Needed to today so I know I will have a "off" week.  TO DO:::: I need to do at least one more load of clothes   It's 8 pm so I'm not doing anything else!  Currently reading::::   Chanel Bonfire    It's a bookclub read.  On the TV today::::  Re-binge-watching "Jericho".  Also watching "The 4400" Still watching my You Tube Videos.  I'm a little addicted :/  On the menu this week::::  M...

It's time for Happy Homemaker Monday!    First of all, I'd like to say happy birthday to Sandra!!!  How nice that it falls on a Happy Homemaker Monday :)  The weather outside is:::: Right now it is in the low 70s.  Michigan has been having a pretty mild summer!  I love it myself :)  We are going to get some thunderstorms this afternoon!  I just love thunderstorms.  They pair perfectly with a cup of tea, a cute kitty and a book!   On the breakfast plate this morning:::: I haven't had any breakfast yet.  If I am not at work, I am terrible about having breakfast at a decent time!  I will probably have an egg on a whole grain English muffin.   As I look outside my window::: I can see the neighbors' flowers in hues of pink.  The man across the street always spend a lot of time on his yard and it is perfect.  Mine never even compares!  Right now I am:::: Blissfully enjoying a...

It's time for Happy Homemaker Monday!    The weather outside is::::   87 and sunny - but some thunderstorms are on the way for tonight!  On the breakfast plate this morning:::: Eggs with spinach and feta cheese.  I made enough to take to work for breakfast for the beginning of the week too.   As I look outside my window::: Sunny and warm.  Blue skies.  American flag flying in the slight breeze.  Right now I am:::: Taking a break from meal prepping!  I have a couple dinners prepped, 3 breakfasts for me, blueberry pancakes for kids.   As I look around the house:::: I should be cleaning, not blogging!  lol  TO DO:::: Finish meal prep Finish dishes Finish cleaning kitchen Get Jennah to clean living/dining room Emily to clean bathroom Finish laundry  Currently reading:::: I actually  have not been reading too much the past couple of weeks believe it or not!  I am slow-reading a ...

So I did all of my shopping yesterday and I have a fridge, pantry and cupboard full of healthy choices for the upcoming week!  Here's the eating plan: Either boiled eggs and Greek Yogurt or "hash" - eggs, turkey ham and Simply potatoes with added spinach, peppers, onion, mushrooms with a serving of fruit. Lunches: Cannellini bean soup made with turkey ham, carrots celery and onion with a side of extra veggies and/or fruit.  Leftovers. Sunday:   Grilled chicken w/ avocado, Southwest Bulgur and watermelon. (Southwest Bulgur is similar to THIS  ) Monday:   Tilapia, brown rice and green beans Tuesday:  (Late work night)  Kids will have frozen pizza and green salad - I will throw together something healthy for myself when I get home Wednesday: Kids and I have dinner at my Mom's house with my sisters, nephew and Dad Thursday:  Goulash using whole wheat penne lots of veggies and lean ground beef, side of green veggies ...
