The Sunday Book Report, #7

Today I am linking up with :

The Sunday Salon: Deb @ Readerbuzz

It's Monday!  What Are You Reading?

***************************************************************************

WHAT DID I READ THIS WEEK:

I am about 1/2-way through re-reading: "The Diary of Anne Frank". I read it as a child; and although I can remember the structure of the story, I had completely forgotten Anne's personality!

I am also re-reading Priscilla Shirer's "Fervent" (LOVE)

Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera (for book club) I'm enjoying this!

And, the book which will be on this blog for months to come, "The Iliad" (at about a chapter per week, maybe the end of the year?)

FAVORITE QUOTE FROM A BOOK I READ:

WHAT BOOKS DID I BUY/BORROW THIS WEEK:

I purchased:
*Sunrise at Crystal Bay (freebie) by Mia Kent (still free at time of posting on Amazon)

I borrowed from Kindle Unlimited (I re-joined because a book I need for a book club was 11.99 on Kindle, but also on KU - so I figured, why not get a month of books for the price of one?)
*Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera
*Dark water Lane by Rachel Caine (rip) and Carrie Ryan (I LOVE THIS SERIES! I was so excited to see a book I hadn't read yet! I plan to save for vacation)

WHAT IS THE BOOK I MOST WANT TO READ RIGHT NOW:

The book I want to read right now is the last in the Stillhouse Lake series

WHAT ARE MY READING PLANS FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK:
Plans....
Finish Anne Frank
Finish Fervent
Finish Listen for the Lie
1-2 chapter The Iliad

Then I'll be ready to start summer vacation books! Yay!

WHAT DID I WORK ON THIS WEEK?
This week I did some world building for a new series that I'm starting. It's a small-town romance with a twist. I love creating characters and new worlds! So fun.

WHAT IS FEEDING MY CREATIVITY?
Right now the act of creating itself. Journaling. Planning. Knowing vacation is coming. Nature.
