My Personal Curriculum Overview for October, 2025
First, a quick recap of my Personal Curriculum for September.
LITERATURE: I finished reading The Iliad by Homer and watched the movie Troy. Just for funsies I threw in a bunch of poetry.
CREATIVITY: I did the first three weeks of The Artist's Way. Yes, I realize September has more than three weeks, but I'm doing what I can when I can. I only did one artist's date, but I have done Morning Pages nearly every day. I also started an art journal and watched a lot of YT videos on mixed-media art.
CHRISTIANITY: I continued with The Bible Recap and read the 28-Day Prayer Journey by Chrystal Evans Hurst. I only did so so with the Prayer Journey - so I tucked it away to try it again another month. I did not finish writing the Titus 2 Bible study - but I did start it at least!
HEALTH: I read the Blue Zone and followed it - a bit. And while I did NOT take up Yoga again, I did take a lot of great walks in nature. So, I'll pass myself for that.
LITERATURE: I will be reading Jane Austen's "Northanger Abbey." While I missed reading along with The Classics Club, I will be able to join in with Canterbury Classics for the month!
CREATIVITY: I will continue with Julie Cameron's The Artist's Way and will do my best to go on weekly artist's dates. I want to continue with my art journal and mixed-media videos as well.
CHRISTIANITY: The Bible Recap will be moving into the New Testament in October. I'll also be doing a study with HB Ministries, Daily Grace. It's a 31-day prayer challenge with journaling. I will do my best to finish writing the Titus 2 Bible study as well.
PERSONAL FINANCE: I bought a car last month and I want to buy a house within the next year. In this economy. What am I thinking? I need to budget, save, pay down debt, and invest. And I could use some focus in that area. I haven't come up with the exact curriculum yet - but will share when I do!
Good luck with your goals. Hugs.
