It's time for Happy Homemaker Monday!

The weather outside is::::
Today is rainy!  Hot!  Muggy!  I am inside ALL DAY!  :)  

On the breakfast plate this morning::::
For breakfast today - I skipped breakfast :/ 

As I look outside my window:::
Outside is thunderstormy, wet and rainy but really nice and green!

Right now I am::::
Getting ready to go put in a second load of laundry, put away some dishes and wash a few more!  Also need to change the cat box :(  

As I look around the house::::
Thinking about where to put my grandmother's antique armoire and what to put inside of it!  It will be my nicest piece of furniture and I am looking forward to inheriting it! (My mom is ready to pass it down!)

I'm binge watching The Alphas on Netflix.

On the menu this week::::
Sunday: Mini farfalle with Italian sausage and red sauce & roasted Brussels sprouts
Monday: Burgers & onion rings with side of green salad 
Tuesday: Grilled, marinated chicken, green beans and brown rice 
Wednesday:  Parents' house
Thursday: BBQ ribs, baked potatoes, corn on the cob 
Friday: Panko-encrusted tilapia, roasted vegetables (carrots, Brussels, potatoes) 
Saturday: Greek grilled chicken with tzatziki sauce, grilled veggies and rice 

In our homeschool:
Lots of astronomy going on.  In the planning stage right now.  You can read about it HERE on Educating Emme: The High School Years.  Also we'll be doing lesson two in ASL and watching episode 4 of America: The Story of US.  

Looking ahead this week: 
Lots of homeschooling, keeping the house decent, reading and spending time with family.  Oh, and work :/

  2. You visited my blog today and I wanted to come by and meet you. We are having the same type of weather here. Lots of humidity and rain/thunder storms for the last two weeks and I can't wait to see the sun! I honestly don't know how the garden will fare, or how the local farmers' corn will do if we don't get some sun soon (live in Northeast Ohio).

    You sound like such a lovely person. Looking forward to visiting again, Sherry.
