 Today is all about Christmas movies!  We have our classics, our cult favorites, Hallmark Christmas movies, and so many more!  The Nativity Story  A drama that focuses on the period in Mary and Joseph's life where they journeyed to Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus. A Charlie Brown Christmas This one is an Easter movie, but it was really good so go ahead and watch it anyway!                                                    The Blessing Bracelet  Dawn unearths a bracelet she made years earlier. Blogmas Day 4: Christmas Around the World

  This has been my favorite post to write so far for blogmas!  I truly loved reading about how other countries celebrate my favorite holiday!  In Australia , Christmas comes in the summertime.  Much of what they do is similar to what we do here in the U.S.  Here are a few differences:  Some Australians decorate their houses with bunches of 'Christmas Bush', a native Australian tree with small green leaves and cream-colored flowers. In summer the flowers turn a deep shiny red over a period of weeks.  In each State capital city there is a large Carols by Candlelight service. These carol services, held in different cities, are broadcast on TV across Australia.  In some places, there are fireworks displays at the local park. Also, sometimes Santa will use kangaroos in the land down under!  Botswana is in the southern hemisphere, so Christmas comes during the summer there as well.  It is usually very hot.  On Christmas Day, many people ...

  It seems The Pioneer Woman has already done my job for me.  Here are the  50 Best DIY Christmas Cards!  Do you learn better by seeing than by reading?  Here is a YouTube video with 100 more ideas!  And never, ever forget to check Pinterest for your crafty needs!  You can also make FREE shareable or printable cards at Greetings Island.  (Some styles you do need a membership, but there are plenty of free options!)  I tried it out to see how it worked.  Here's my card - click here!  Do you make homemade Christmas cards?  Do you send them out at all?  I will be sending out some boxed cards this year.
