Even though the weather was pretty cold and rainy most days, we had a very blessed time! I met the pastor who will be officiating our wedding (I've met him before but this was more formal) and had church service. We went to a flea market and a church yard sale where I found some treasures! I'm typing this up early Monday morning, the sun is rising over the river, and the birds are singing outside my window.  Last week, I turned 56. I'm really noticing my age in a lot of things. There are ways I feel no different than I ever have. But after losing 150 pounds (yes!) my neck is saggy, my skin is getting wrinkles, and my white hair is relentless. But I'm ok with all of it. I've earned every year. Last week I did PT six times, did strengthening exercises once, and took 4 walks. My eating was NOT GOOD.                  Just when I finally got back to blogging - COVID reared its ugly head again!  I didn't even leave the house and I got it!  Jennah went to the store and lo and behold she brought the virus with her.  It wasn't nearly as bad as 2021, but I was in bed around 6 days and then another 10 days I've had issues with shortness of breath (getting better) brain fog (almost gone) and a wonky heart.  The last time started my a-fib, so I will need to see if this time made it worse. My meds do not seem to be cutting it now.  I did very little of anything - reading, blogging, writing, etc.   *** The weather in my neck of the woods***   We had some frigidly cold weather while I was sick, but I never even noticed! I am hoping that everyone had a very blessed and fulfilling weekend!  ♥♥ The Weather ♥♥ We had a couple of very cold days, but nowhere near as bad as it was on the East Coast. Now we are back to that gross 40-degree area with Thursday topping out in the mid-50s. I've had a very productive year so far, so I am happy about that.   ♥♥ The Weather ♥♥ Guess what?  IT IS SNOWING!!!!  I am so happy about that.  This week we have a small decrease in the temperature.  Instead of 40 every day it is going to be mid-30s. We have two more days that we should get snow!  FINALLY!    ♥♥ As I look outside my window ♥♥   I SEE SNOW! I might be just a little excited about that lol. We also had three trees cut down across the street at the park this week.  They are doing a whole revamp of the park, so I am not sure if they are making room for something?  If we are still here on the 4th of July, we may be able to see the fireworks now!  LOL    ♥♥ Right now I am ♥♥ Talking to Emil...
