Happy Homemaker Monday March 25th, 2019

I am linking up with Sandra from Diary of a Stay at Home Mom for Happy Homemaker Monday

As per usual - I've disappeared for a bit to rearrange life and my head a bit.  But it's all good.  Great, in fact.  I've missed sharing Happy Homemaker Monday though! I started my new job at John Hancock 3 weeks ago today!  I absolutely love the company and working from home!  I know I owe you all pictures of my room/office - but again - so bad at getting those pictures in!  Hopefully next week.

The weather in my neck of the woods..... It's that typical early spring in Michigan!  Yesterday was 55 and sunny, today 40.

Right now I am.... Watching a learning module on Records Management for work!  Shhhhhh - don't tell! I've managed records long enough to know the basics I think!

Thinking about.... My beau is driving to Chicago tomorrow with his daughter.  Just a day trip for business, but it's a LOT of driving for one day.

On the blog last week..... Nothing for a couple of weeks now.  BAD BLOGGER!

On my reading pile.... I've been a bad reader too.  My reading has been sadly lacking.  I need to turn this around immediately!  I'm reading "The Alice Network" and "The Winter Garden" by Kristin Hannah.  My friend and I are going to a local library for a book club for the first book.  So far I am loving both of them!

On my TV.....
McLeod's Daughters (re-binge - starting season 5)
New Amsterdam
Days of Our LIves
Yount & Restless

Movie of the week.....
La Vie En Rose (French film about singer Edith Piaf)
Triple Frontier - Netflix movie with Charlie Hunnam and Ben Afflick - pretty good!

Listening to.....
Soundtrack to A Star is Born
Edith Piaf
Roxette's Joyride

On the menu for this week....
Monday - Leftovers
Tuesday - Crockpot pepper steak over rice
Wednesday - Having dinner with my sweetheart @ his house
Thursday - Swedish meatballs w/ egg noodles & green beans
Friday - Dinner w/ my beau
Saturday - Cooking dinner for family: Chicken, vegetable, rice, salad
Sunday - Leftovers or fish, broccoli, and wildrice

Best recipe of last week...... Greek chicken Buddha bowls (love these!)

New recipe I want to try..... This has been on my menu plan several times and I have never yet made it!  Chicken con Broccoli

    On my to do list....
  • Drop cable box @ Xfinity
  • Mail pen-pal letters
  • Take Jennah to buy walking shoes
  • Remind son to help out my dad
  • Clean out my car
  • Spend time with my honey
  • Take him to airport Saturday
  • Continue working w/ girls on spring cleaning

In my planners.... I made them all pretty and organized and didn't take a picture :(

Looking forward to this week.... Spending time with my beau, sunshine, flowers, birds

Looking around the house.... Lots to spring clean!

Bible Study..... Waiting on my new Bible study book to arrive.  Joyce Meyer's study on the book of Ephesians - one of my favorite books! There are a lot of free resources to go along with the book too!  Excited to get started!

Praying for......
My beau's 2 trips this week
His father who has been ill
My Dad
My good friend from HS and college's Dad

    1. I am a customer service rep for John Hancock. I make outbound calls to welcome people to the company! I mix up the Buddha bowl sometimes - add in anything that feels Greek! Have a great week!
