Happy Homemaker Monday

Hello, my sisters. Thank you so much for your warm replies last week. My sister has another follow-up appointment on Wednesday, and we are hopeful that her platelets have improved enough that she will be able to get the testing she needs to at least be staged. Then we move on from there.

I ate out a couple of times last week (Chic Fil a grilled nuggets, pizza) so I still have my freezer stash of portioned out ingredients to use this week, which is great since I start training.

***Past week's pondering***

I've been thinking a lot about what I want the rest of my life to look like, how I want to be remembered, and what I need to do to stop wasting time. Obviously, my sister's diagnosis has us all thinking this way, especially her :(

*** The weather in my neck of the woods***

It has finally cooled off and we are in the 60s with chilly mornings - BUT - rain, rain, and more rain! Jennah and I got soaked going to Aldi and Dollar General earlier today.

*** What I am wearing ***
My usual at-home wear of black yoga pants and an oversized Nirvana t-shirt

*** On The Reading Pile***
I did read once last week. I put it on my daily to do list but only read one time. I will do better this week! Reading fast and easy thrillers. Still plucking away at War and Peace! I've been listening on audio!

*** What's on my tv ***
YouTube: Thrifting, weight loss, Christianity

***Favorite blog post/YouTube video last week***
I am still binging all things Thrifting. It comforts me watching people thrift shop! I'm not sure what it is, but it works. The woman below purchases lovely vintage items for her home.

***On the Menu ***

MONDAY: Taco pasta
TUESDAY: Homemade pizza
WEDNESDAY: BBQ chicken, green beans, baked potato
THURSDAY: Peanut noodles with shrimp, edamame
FRIDAY: Baked cheesy chicken and rice with broccoli
SATURDAY: Two Peas & Their Pod Sausae & Tortellini Soup
SUNDAY: Enchiladas and Spanish rice

*** On my to do list ***
This week:
Training
Uno Night
Cook for Dad
Pick up prescriptions
Make doctor's appointments
Decorate for fall

*** No words needed (favorite photo or picture) ***
I took two photos this week, lol. I'm going to make an effort this week!

Diet Coke - it was needed!

Ollie Bear taking his 14th nap of the day :)

*** This week''s Bible Study**
I'm still in Revelation. Didn't really make any progress last week. I need to focus

*** This week's prayer list***
Please keep my sister Beth in your prayers, along with her 16-year-old son, Caleb, and my Dad
