Book Beginnings: Northanger Abbey
This is my first time sharing with Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings on Friday!
My book beginning:
No one who had ever seen Catherine Morland in her infancy would have supposed her born to be an heroine.
I love how so much is disclosed in this first sentence. It is a nice preface, making you want to read on to find out what makes her "an" heroine. LOL
