WHAT DID I READ THIS WEEK:  I missed posting last week, so I these books are for the past 2 weeks - but oh my goodness!  I read some great ones!  

First, I finished "The Stationary Shop" by Marjan Kamali  4-1/2 *
A beautiful Iranian love story full of culture and history.

Second, I read "When I Was You" by Minka Kent  4-1/2*
This one is a twisty mystery that keeps you guessing until the end. I chose it as a First Read's selection on Amazon, so I got it for free.  It is now a part of Kindle Unlimited as well. 

Third I read "Where the Forest Meets the Stars" by Glendy Vanderah 5*

I truly loved this one!  The characters are amazing and multidimensional, it is a touching story that includes a little mystery, a little fantasy, and a lot of love. This one is also a part of the Kindle Unlimited program on Amazon. 

Finally, I read "Regretting You", my second Colleen Hoover for this year. 4*
Also on Kindle Unlimited (getting my money's worth this month!) this is a twisty complicated mother-daughter story, part love story, part mystery.  Enjoying this author! 

WHAT BOOKS DID I BUY/BORROW THIS WEEK:  I purchased a few thrift store books last week.  It was under $3.00 for the books below.  The Kite Runner, Into the Woods, and The Shack I have read - but I bought them for my book ministry (see below). Still Alice is also to donate.  I also purchased "The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek" for my Kindle.

WHAT IS THE BOOK I MOST WANT TO GET MY HANDS ON RIGHT NOW: American Dirt

WHAT ARE MY READING PLANS FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK: I just purchased the e-book "The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek" (which was the book I wanted to get my hands on in my last Book Report!) I'll be starting this one! 

READTHONS FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK:  

The Leap into Horror Readathon starts on Saturday the 15th and goes through the end of the month.  I may have to join this one! 

I may also have to join in the Basically Readathon on February 15th where you read a book that has been on your TBR for a long, long time!


MY BOOK MINISTRY: I only left two books last week in Little Free Libraries - but they were good ones!  The Kite Runner and Into the Woods :)  Left little notes on the books to encourage people to read!
