***Past week's pondering***

Oh it's been harsh. Harsh weather, harsh emotions, and a harsh work environment. Spring will hopefully help all three of these things!

For some that have read my blog for the past year(s) you know I've dealt with bad anxiety and depression for a long time. At the end of last week, I was diagnosed with high-functioning bipolar II. My medication was changed and it did NOT go well. The first day I was a literal zombie. I stayed in bed all day and barely moved. The next day was a bit better. Monday I started feeling rage and then Tuesday - oh my goodness. I began to panic, get severely agitated, anxious, and was so bad I had to take a sick day from 10 a.m. I ended up getting into bed, wrapping up in a blanket, and I stayed in the same position for 4 hours. Obviously I did not take the medicine last night. I felt much better today. I'm not completely convinced of the diagnosis. But that's a discussion for a different day!

Why is everything so hard? I don't know how anyone makes it in this world without Jesus! I lean hard on my faith in times like this.

*** This week's prayer list***
You've likely seed my requests for my stb brother-in-law who had the strokes last month. He's having a difficult time with depression as his eyesight isn't improving as he'd hoped. He also found out that he had several strokes PRIOR to this double one. Please keep him in your prayers.

The young girl in Pakistan, Maria, who just turned 13 - she was abducted from her parents by an older man at 12 years old and forced to get married to him. They've been in and out of court for months. Yesterday, it was ruled that the marriage was valid. She was returned to this man and her parents left without her. It's a case of two things - a man with money against a family who is poor. A Muslim man in a Muslim country against a Christian family. I'm heartbroken.
