Currently Working On Or Creating: Working on my book, as usual! God took me in a different, but exciting, direction.

I am thinking.. how I can still feel so depressed, even knowing how blessed I am

I am thankful... for my cat.  He's the only thing that is making me happy the past couple of days.

One of my favorite things... sleeping.

I am wearing... black capri pants and a black and white tank top

I am hoping... to get out of this funk ..... soon!

In the schoolroom... Still in summer mode.  Em is reading and writing mostly along with some computer work.

In the garden... Most of my flowers are still hanging in there .... herbs are looking a little sorry after the downpour a few days ago.

Have a very blessed week.

  3. I love your pictures, your dinners sound yummmmmy, my oldest loves Jambalaya ... I make what I call a "poor man's Jambalaya" because it is quite simple and cheap! Homemade Spanish rice with sliced summer sausage... sometimes I will throw in some beans ;-) What do you put in yours?

As to your funk, Philippians 4:8-9 has often helped me. Sometimes, for me, it is more about where I am letting my thoughts linger than anything else.

    Blessings to you!
