Happy Homemaker Monday

Hello, beautiful friends! I can't believe I am getting this typed up on time this week! It has been so hot and humid this summer, hasn't it? I went to a park with my sister and daughter yesterday to take a walk and the "real feel" was 106-degrees! After 30 minutes my sister and I were having trouble getting enough air - which ended up being good that we went back to the car because a big storm blew in right after!

*** What I am creating ***
*I'm about 1/4 of the way through writing the rough draft of book 2 in the Geneva Ketcherside series (or the Detroit series? IDK yet)
*I am finally starting on writing a bite-size Bible study on the Titus 2 Woman
*I really WANT to start art journaling again - I just have so many other things going on (AND in order to stay cool I need to be in my bedroom or work office) that I think I will truly get back into this in the fall. It keeps pulling on me! Getting that "nudge"

*** No words needed (favorite photo or picture) ***

I got some new super cute bow bookmarks from Pretty Little Bibles on Etsy!

Red damsel fly

Black-eyed susans

Perty flowers

Some kind of sunflower perhaps?

The trail we walked on - there were butterfly gardens and just so many pretty butterflies!

My red snapdragons bloomed again

My purple spot!

*** Devotional, Prayers, Bible Verses ***
Still heartbroken for all of those families affected by the Texas flooding. Keeping them in prayer along with family, friends, and so many around the world who are at war, or oppressed, or don't have enough to eat.  We just don't know how lucky we have it. Praying for my sponsored child in Ethiopia, Kalkidan. I'm a part of Prisoners for Christ (prayer team and I communicate via snail mail with a couple of women who are incarcerated to discuss Jesus) and once again - SO MUCH NEED FOR PRAYER. It can be overwhelming to think about and absolutely HUMBLING to know how fortunate we are.

God bless - love you ladies!!!
