***Past week's pondering***

I was sick about 1/2 the week - still unsure what it was all about! I was having chest/abdominal pains that seem to be coming from my stomach opening. I have a doctor appointment scheduled for tomorrow. I felt so much better over the weekend and I took down all of Christmas and lifted a heavy box and hurt my lower back. It never ends. Getting older stinks!

*** The weather in my neck of the woods***

Monday: 36 and partly sunny

Tuesday: 42 and cloudy

Wednesday: 38 rain/snow & big drop in temp

Thursday: 20 snow

Friday: 29 snow

Saturday: 29 snow

Sunday: 18 possible snow

*** Thinking about ***
I really want to get outside for a walk today and tomorrow! The weather won't be too bad and the sidewalks won't be covered in snow and ice. I've never loved taking walks like I do now! It's crazy! Maybe it's becoming an old lady? LOL

*** What I am wearing ***
Still in my fuzzy robe and slippers

*** On The Reading Pile***
One chapter per day of War and Peace along with Footnotes & Tangents Slow Read

*** What's on my tv ***
House of David - I have 3 episodes left
The Holy Spirit on Qava - I have 2 episodes left
YouTube - I need to cut back. I spend too much time on YT. I watch:
*Cooking
*Thrifting
*Financial
*Decluttering
*Anything Christian Woman related (studies, journaling, goals, etc)
*Goal setting
*Planners

I obediently cut my subscription list WAYYYYYYYy back - but I'm watching just as many videos. I need to be intentional about cutting back. There are more productive things I could be doing!

*** This week''s Bible Study***
I'm in my Beth Moore and Daily Grace David study as well as a study of the Holy Spirit on Qava (almost done). I'm in Chrystal Evan Hurst's membership and in that we are starting to read through the Bible with TBR. I wasn't going to do that this year, but now I'm thinking maybe I will LISTEN to the Bible? IDK yet. Stay tuned!

*** This week's prayer list***
My stb BIL Marty is getting released from the hospital after his double stroke. He is doing pretty well, but his vision was badly damaged. Please keep him in your prayers that it will be restored.

A 12 year old Christian girl in Pakistan named Maria was abducted and married off to a Muslim man. There is a court case this week to return her to her parents. Please keep her and her family in prayer!

All the craziness, evil, violence, and hurting going on in this broken world :(

  5. I sure hope you're feeling better! Tummy issues are never fun and getting older isn't either! Some days it feels like everything hurts! And I'm right there with you about going down the rabbit hole on watching way too many things. They always seem to domino on me and I become a squirrel who has to check it all out! Love the kitty picture especially, something so precious about a sleeping kitty. Have a wonderful weekend.
