***Past week's pondering***

Good morning, my beautiful sisters. I'm typing this up early Monday morning, the sun is rising over the river, and the birds are singing outside my window.

Last week, I turned 56. I'm really noticing my age in a lot of things. There are ways I feel no different than I ever have. But after losing 150 pounds (yes!) my neck is saggy, my skin is getting wrinkles, and my white hair is relentless. But I'm ok with all of it. I've earned every year.

Last week I did PT six times, did strengthening exercises once, and took 4 walks. My eating was NOT GOOD. But I am back today!

*** The weather in my neck of the woods***

Monday: 67, cloudy

Tuesday: 63, rain

Wed: 53, rain

Thursday: 52, partly sunny

Friday: 49, partly sunny

Saturday: 49 and cloudy

Sunday: 62, partly sunny

*** Thinking about ***
Getting my debt consolidated this week. I've gotten myself into a mess. I want to pay my debt off, but paying it in tiny chunks a dozen times a month versus two large chunks seems to be an easy choice at this point!

*** What I am wearing ***
I'm in my nightgown, robe, and slippers

*** On The Reading Pile***
War and Peace - enjoying my slow read! I might do a slow read of a different huge book every year!

Compelled by Love by Heidi Baker. She is a missionary in Africa.

*** What's on my tv ***

YouTube:
Gardening videos
Thrifting for home/garden decor videos
House plant videos
Christian Women videos
Dollar Tree videos

I watched "Machine Gun Preacher" - based on a true story of a biker/drug addict who gives his life to Christ and becomes a missionary in Africa, building an orphanage

  2. Hello my Lovely! Happy belated birthday too you!! 🎂💗I pray endless blessings over your year ahead. You are so beautiful inside and out (and wow what an accomplishment on that weight loss 😍). I love your hair and your cute glasses. I'm still working on my self improvement journey and will be 55 this Autumn (which blows my mind). But agree we have earned every gray hair and wrinkle and I wear them as badges of honor. What a gorgeous gift from your almost MIL. Blessings to you. xoxo
