Happy Homemaker Monday Labor Day 2018 Edition

Photo from Momy's Musings

I am linking up with Sandra from Diary of a Stay at Home Mom for Happy Homemaker Monday

The weather..... Oh, you know, the stuff I hate.  Around 90 for the next several days and humid.  BLECH!

Right now I am.... Listening to Third Day on Amazon Music.  Amazon is still my bff.

Thinking.... The opposite, actually.  I'm trying NOT to think about work.  However, it is difficult when the boss lady keeps texting you.

On my reading pile....  You can read all about it HERE!  Short version, I'm finishing up "Year One" by Nora Roberts right now.

On my TV.....
The Flash season 4
Heartland season 5
YouTube
Days of Our Lives
Young & Restless
Joyce Meyer

This week's movie..... "Anna Karenina"   The 2012 version.  I think I liked it?  lol  It was sort of odd, yet interesting.

On the menu for this week....

Today I made some 2-ingredient bagels.  Only 3 WW freestyle points each!

Everything:

and pumpkin spice:

Labor Day Monday - Grilled bbq chicken, corn on the cob, fresh green beans and red potatoes, deviled eggs, green salad, and crusty rolls

Tuesday - Leftovers from Labor Day turned into a bbq chicken quinoa bowl

Wednesday -  Most likely will be something quick and cheap!  BK veggie burger? Wendy's chili?

Thursday - Doritos taco salad

Friday - Garlic & herb fish with rice pilaf and roasted brussels sprouts

Saturday - Family dinner - maybe breakfast for dinner?  or burgers?  Anyone?

On my to do list....

  1. Making the deviled eggs
  2. Snapping green beans
  3. Shucking corn
  4. Taking Emily driving
  5. Family Uno night
  6. 2-3 loads of laundry
  7. A few reports I need to type up for work
  8. Read
  9. Bible study

In my planners....

    1. I watched DOOL from about 1983 to 1998 and then motherhood and work, etc. I just picked it back up about 6 months ago and I am so amazed that so many of the main characters are still there! I love it!

  3. Your planner is so cute!!! And you really should check out the classic Anna Kerenina. I LOVE Vivian Leigh, and she's Anna in that version. It is a bit odd- but I like the older one better. Actually I dislike the 2012 version very much mostly because I was watching it the night I couldn't sleep because I was having a horrible gallbladder attack lol and had surgery the next day! But even if it wasn't for really bad memories, I would have liked the older one better :) Hope you have an amazing week!

    1. Thanks about the planner :) I used to go all out but it's so time consuming! lol I will DEFINITELY check out the original!!!! I LOVE Vivan Leigh! I didn't know! Sorry about the gallbladder attack during the movie! You'll forever associate the two. I remember watching The Parent Trap while being in labor with my daughter 22 years ago and will never forget! Ha!

    1. Sorry it took me so long! Here is the recipe for the bagels (but I just use self-rising flour instead of flour and baking powder) https://www.messforless.net/2-ingredient-weight-watchers-bagels/
