The Monday Book Report, Edition #7

I am linking up with

LAST WEEK ON THE BLOG:
Monday's:  Happy Homemaker Monday and The Monday Book Report, linked to The Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday, and It's Monday, What Are You Reading
Tuesday's:  Top Ten Tuesday
Wednesday:  Weigh in Wednesday

WHAT DID I READ THIS WEEK:  I finished absolutely NOTHING.  *sigh*  I read 1/2 of Sons of Blackbird Mountain by Joanne Bischof and half of The Inn of Rose Harbor by Debbie Macomber.  I also started 3 other books and 2 audiobooks.  SEE MY PROBLEM HERE????? Just as in most other areas of my life, I have a very difficult time focusing.  (p.s.  I am finishing everything I started!)

WHAT BOOKS DID I BUY/BORROW/FIND IN MY MAILBOX THIS WEEK:

I have borrowed a few e-books from the library this week that I am so excited about reading (uh, finishing):

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng (10% finished)

The Queen by Kiera Cass (21% finished)

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas (not yet started)

WHAT IS THE BOOK I MOST WANT TO GET MY HANDS ON RIGHT NOW: I've posted this book before, but I NEED it.  Barbara Kingsolver's Unsheltered"

WHAT ARE MY READING PLANS FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK: Finish Sons of Blackbird Mountain, The Inn of Rose Harbor, The Queen, and Little Fires Everywhere.  Finish audiobook "Still Me" by Jojo Moyes (about 20% finished) and finish 2nd audiobook (TBA but something seasonal, perhaps a Stephen King?)  during weekend road trip Up North (Michigan) for leaf peeping!

Secondly - DO NOT START ANY NEW BOOKS UNTIL OLD ONES ARE FINISHED!

ANY NEW BOOK EVENTS OR BOOK NEWS ONLINE OR IN YOUR TOWN?  Not exactly reading related, but sort of.  October 6th and 7th my sister and I, along with my 2 daughters, are going to Mackinaw City for a quick weekend get-away.  The reason it is book related to me is that when I was younger (think teenagery) every summer I would go with my parents and I would always buy a new October-y Fallish book to read.  I remember buying a lot of Anne Rice back then :)  I'm hoping to score an amazing book this trip as well!
